From Curiosity to Passion: My Story
Hey there! I’m Figish—a tech entrepreneur with a knack for business and technology. Funny thing is, I didn’t start out in tech. Actually, I wanted to study accounting. Yep, crunching numbers and balancing books. But I ended up studying business instead because, well, the world is a business. We market, sell, and make deals every day—it just made sense.
But my curiosity had other plans. Ever since high school, I was fascinated by how computers worked. I kept wondering, What would it feel like to tell a computer what to do? That curiosity stuck with me.
Then came 2020—a year of chaos and, for me, a turning point. My laptop just gave up on life—shut down without warning. Repair fees? Out of my budget. So, I did what any stubborn, broke guy would do: I hit the internet. Hours of research, countless tutorials, and a lot of trial and error later, I fixed it! The satisfaction was unreal.
That single moment pulled me into a rabbit hole of tech obsession. I couldn’t stop learning—troubleshooting computers, installing software, building websites, and exploring cybersecurity, data analytics, AI, and everything tech. What started as a problem became a passion—and that passion evolved into a career. I began freelancing, fixing computers, and building websites for friends and clients.
Over the years, I’ve designed websites, supported IT systems, and worked in data analytics—all while serving as a business development consultant, helping over 50 small businesses adopt digital solutions. I’ve taken everything I’ve learned and built a career as a freelance writer and web designer—making complex tech simple through words and design.
Today, when I’m not writing or building websites, I’m busy being a single dad—raising my son while navigating the ever-evolving world of tech.
